A night of bloodshed unfolded in Naples as a young man was stabbed with a corkscrew during a brawl that erupted in a local establishment in the area of Via Toledo. As a result, four young individuals were arrested by the Police State, while a minor was reported.

During the night, officers from the General Prevention Office of the Naples Police Headquarters intervened in Via Due Porte a Toledo after receiving reports of a brawl. Simultaneously, an Italian Army patrol alerted the police to a young man lying on the ground near the Toledo metro station. The young man, found with a puncture wound and cut to the scapula, was assisted by emergency services and transported to the Cardarelli Hospital in critical condition; fortunately, his life is not in danger.

An investigation initiated by the police revealed that shortly before, a violent brawl had erupted in the bathrooms of a local establishment, resulting in the destruction of doors and furnishings. The victim, who intervened to break up the fight, was ultimately struck. The attackers then fled in a car.

Thanks to CCTV footage, the police quickly located the vehicle on Via Galileo Ferraris, at the highway entrance. The five occupants – an 18-year-old, a 19-year-old, two 22-year-olds, and a 16-year-old – all had facial injuries and bloodstains on their clothes. In the trunk of the car, three corkscrews were found, used during the brawl, as confirmed by the CCTV images. Consequently, the four adults were arrested for brawling, aggravated assault, and property damage, while the minor was reported for the same offenses.
